Jared Kushner secures book deal amid Trump clash with publishing industry
Ivanka Trump's husband's memoir to uncover 'the truth about what happened behind closed doors'
Former President Donald Trump's son-in-law and one of his top White House advisers during his administration, Jared Kushner, have struck a book deal to cover his time in office.
Ivanka Trump's husband is set to release his memoir in early 2022, with the book expected to touch on the Middle East and criminal justice reform.
HarperCollins Publishers, a conservative arm of Broadside Books, has signed a deal with Mr. Kushner, but has not disclosed financial terms.
"His book will be the definitive, thorough recalculation of the administration — and the truth about what happened behind closed doors," Broadside announced Tuesday.
Mr Kushner, 40, is said to have begun writing the memoir, which will cover a broad portfolio of issues reflecting the vast range of projects he has undertaken while working in the White House.
